Tetris Art Generator began with a simple curiosity: what happens when you take the familiar shapes out of the game and confine them to a canvas? Arrange them symmetrically or asymmetrically, let them overlap or keep them apart, and the same small vocabulary of blocks produces very different images.

Experiment with the palette, background, and arrangement, then generate another variation. It is a playful way to explore pattern, repetition, and composition, and to find out how much variety a few familiar shapes can hold.
